I grew up in a family of physicians, so choosing to pursue a career in the field of medicine and caring for people came easily to me. As an orthopedic surgeon fracture, care and general orthopedics, including knee and shoulder arthroscopy procedures are performed for various pathologies.
With the addition of being
fellowship-trained in foot and ankle orthopedic surgeon, I treat patients with fractures and sprains, ankle pain, Achilles tendon problems, athletic injuries, and more. I also perform total ankle replacements as well as forefoot, midfoot, and hindfoot reconstruction.

I approach each of my patients with empathy and provide them with the highest-quality treatments and surgical plans. This resonates with my patients, who often refer me to their family and friends after experiencing positive outcomes from my care.

TO: DR.OMAR SALEEM.On February 25th 2021 I was faced with the biggest trauma of my life. I was involved in an accident that fractured my foot and broke my hand. My right leg and ankle was completely torn (Talor neck fracture) while I lay down in the hospital totally unconscious, my family was left to deal with the surgeons to heal me. EVERY SINGLE surgeon denied me and informed my mom and sister that they would have to amputate my leg in order to save me. It was just until Dr Omar saleem came in and accepted my case. In fact, he accepted my case, fully performed my surgery WITHOUT amputating my leg. Now 2 years after my surgery I am now running mile in less than 12 min. Not only my stamina is well because of Dr Saleem but I am also now joining the NYPD and are going through the process now. I owe a BIG thank you to him. I always say if people are going through that profession, your job is to have sympathy for your patients and feel emotions, I’ve seen a lot of doctors to fail this criteria however Dr Saleem has it all. He put my mom and sisters at ease when he told them while their little boy was in that bed bleeding that he will accept my case. I am now feeling barely any pain throughout my daily routine. My dream was to be a cop and I thought that dream was crushed when I got into that accident. I would not be anywhere without Dr Saleem. He is amazing at everything he does and I really do feel that other doctors should be like him. I know there are families out there right now that are probably going through the same thing as I did 2 years ago, they just need Dr Saleem to do exactly what he did to me,walk through that door with full confidence and accept that surgery.

Dr Saleem was amazing in addressing all of our concerns. He operated on my son’s broken ankle. The surgery went well and now is on his road to recovery. My nephew, sister in law and brother all come to Dr Saleem and everyone is happy and doing The office staff was welcoming & friendly. Definitely recommend!!!
